Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel 1300 M

Namaste… Welcome to Nepal ,Arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, meet our guide in Airport , He will assist transfer to your hotel . After refreshment drink in hotel ,We will do a short orientation of the overall trip & final preparation for trekking. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2 : Kathmandu to Pokhara ( B) 6-8 Hour By Drive

Today early in the morning, after breakfast tour guide will meet you at your hotel , From the hotel, you will be transferred to the bus station to catch a local tourist bus to Pokhara. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 3 : Pokhara To Drive Nayapul Trek To Ulleri (BLD)

Today early in the morning,after breakfast your TOUR GUIDE will meet you at your hotel in Pokhara. From the hotel, you will be transferred to the bus station to catch a bus to the starting point of this trek, Nayapul. It’s a small village located northwest of Pokhara and about 2 hours bus ride from Pokhara, past Hemja, Naudanda and Lumle will take you to this place situated near the Modi River. It’s a very scenic drive and on clear days you will get to enjoy the majestic views of the Annapurna range. Once at Nayapul, the luggage will be prepared for the porters, after which the trekking begins with a quick descend to Birethanti. In Birethanti, your team leader will quickly complete the necessary check in formalities at the office of ACAP, after which a gentle hike on a trail along the Bhurungdi River will take you to Tikhedhunga. The trail from Birethanti to Tikhedhunga passing through the typical mountain villages like Lamdawali, Sudame and Hile, will also allow you to enjoy the beautiful wheat and rice fields and the views of Machhapuchhre and Annapurna. After reaching Tikhedhunga, you can either spend the remaining time exploring the settlement of Tikhedhunga or simply resting at the lodge. Overnight in a lodge in Tikhedhunga.

Day 4 : Ulleri to ghorepanii

Trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2,860m/9,383ft) 6-7 hour. After breakfast in Tikhedhunga get ready for a long steep ascent on a stone staircase to Ulleri. However, before stepping on the first step out of about 3200 stone steps that leads you up to Ulleri, you will first cross the suspension bridge near the camp site at Tikhedhunga and then climb the stair case. It will take about 2 hours to climb these stairs. You will now reach a very beautiful classic settlement of Magar people (Ulleri), where you will get to enjoy the typical settlement, housing style and lifestyle of Magar people. From Ulleri, an invigorating gentle ascend through the forest of Rhododendron and Pine, past Banthanti and Nangge Thanti will take you to another beautiful and the largest Magar settlement of the region, Ghorepani. Along with the dazzling view of the Annapurna and Hiunchuli, this village also features a number of lodges, guest houses and teahouses that cater to their guests throughout the year. After the check in formality at the lodge, you can either spend the remaining time admiring the view of the mountains with a hot cup of coffee/tea from the lodge or exploring the settlement and lifestyle of the people living in Ghorepani. Overnight in a lodge in Ghorepani.

Day 5 : ghorepanii to tadapani (BLD)

Hike to Poon Hill and trek to Tadapani (2,630m/8,628ft) 5-6 hour. Today you will hike to Poon Hill, which is one of the best viewpoints in Nepal to enjoy the sunrise view over the mountains. It takes about 45 min to reach the view point of the Poon Hill from Ghorepani. Since the target is to reach there before the sunrise, your will start this day earlier than usual. Your team leader will wake you up early in the morning, so that you can reach the view point of the Poon Hill before the sun rise. We will hike to Poon Hill and wait for the sun to rise. Defeating the darkness, the sun slowly rises up in the sky. The drape of the darkness vanishes presenting one of the most pleasant views on earth. The panorama of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range stands tall in front of you. You will get to enjoy the most beautiful faces of Machhapuchhre (6,993m), Hiumchuli (6,441m), Annapurna South (7,219m), Baraha Sikhar (7,647m), Nilgiri South (6,839m) and Dhaulagiri (8,167m), all in one go. Having spent some time, relishing and capturing the mesmerizing views, you will hike down to Ghorepani for breakfast. After breakfast, without wasting much time, the trekking will continue east of Ghorepani, to the Deurali Pass and then to Banthanti and finally making the way through the dense rhododendron forest the descending trail will take you to Tadapani. Sing along with the chirping birds and flowing streams as you descend to Tadapani. Enjoy the majestic view of Machhapuchhre from Tadapani. Overnight in a lodge in Tadapani.

Day 6 : Tadapani to Sinuwa (2,360m/7,742ft) 6-7 hour (BLD)

Today, you will wake up to enjoy the beautiful view of Machhapuchhre, have breakfast and progress towards the base camp. At Tadapani, the trail divides for Ghandruk and Chhomrong. Leaving the trail leading to Ghandruk behind, you will now descend through the dense forest and the terraced fields to the bridge across the Kimrong River, enjoying the spectacular view of the upper Modi Valley. You will cross the bridge and gently hike to Taulung. From Taulung, a steep ascent will take you to one of the major Gurung village in this region, Chhomrong. From Chhomrong, following the stone steps, you will now descend to the bridge across the Chhomrong River, cross the river and then ascend to Sinuwa. Sinuwa is the overnight stop for this day. The night will be spent in a comfortable lodge in Sinuwa.

Day 7 : Sinuwa to Deurali (3,200m/10,498ft) 6 hours (BLD)

Breakfast in Sinuwa and a long easy ascent through the forest of rhododendron, oak and bamboo will take you to Kuldhigar. From Kuldhigar, you will hike down to Bamboo. The trail ahead of bamboo is rich in bamboo forest, flowers and ferns. Keeping to the west of the Modi River, you will now hike to Dobhan and continue to Deurali. However, before reaching Deurali, you will get to enjoy the lush forest that ends around the Hinku cave. From Hinku cave to Deurali, the area is either covered with snow or the burnt out grasses. Deurali is the overnight stop for this night and the night will be spent in one of the comfortable lodge in Deurali.

Day 8 : Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130/13,549ft) 5-6 hour (BLD)

Today you will finally reach the destination, that is, the Base Camp of the Annapurna South. Therefore, after quick breakfast in Deurali, you will first head towards the Machhapuchhre base camp, quickly crossing the avalanche site. The trail becomes less steep as the rocky valley starts to widen. Soon, the beautiful mountains come into sight. As you reach the Machhapuchhre Base Camp, the trail now turns left entering the Annapurna Sanctuary. Straight ahead of you, you will spot the high lateral moraine of the South Annapurna glacier. You will get to enjoy the panorama of mountain right from the Machhapuchhre base camp. Enjoying the view, about 2 hours of gentle walk into the sanctuary will finally bring you to the base camp of the Annapurna South. You will be greeted by the 3600 vista of the mountains around you. The view of the Mardi Himal, Machhapuchhre, Annapurna III, Gangapurna, Singu Chuli, Khangsar Kang, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli and the Annapurna South are the closest and most dazzling. After enjoying the view, you will head to one of the most comfortable the lodge in the Annapurna Base Camp for overnight stay.

Day 9 : Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo or Sinuwa (2,310m/7,578ft) 6-7 hour (BLD)

Today, you will enjoy another beautiful sunrise over the mountains in the Annapurna region. For this you will have to wake up early in the morning and hike to the view point. As the first rays of the sun strikes the mountains, the view of the glorious mountains will captivate your heart and soul. The view will keep you busy, as you will want to capture each and every second until the sun rises high up in the sky. After enjoying the view, you will come back to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, leaving the majestic mountains, heavenly landscape behind, and rocky, yet the beautiful valley behind, walking past the Machhapuchhre base camp, Deurali and Dobhan, we will now enter the forest of oak, bamboo and rhododendron and walk down to Bamboo for overnight stay.

Day 10 : Sinuwa to Jhinu (1,780m/5,839ft) 5-6 hour (BLD)

Breakfast at Bamboo, leaving Bamboo you will first hike to Kuldighar. From Kuldighar, on a descending trail, you will descend to the Chhomrong River past, Sinuwa and Tilche. After crossing the bridge across the Chhomrong River, you will hike up to the Chhomrong village. From the Chhomrong village, about 40 min downhill walk past Taulung will finally bring you to the Jhinu Hill. The view of the mountains from the hill is majestic. Once at the Jhinu, you will take a short rest at the lodge and walk down to the natural hot spring, located near the bank of the Modi River. Take a dip into the hot spring and relax your tired muscles. After the relaxing dip, you will hike back to the lodge. Overnight in a lodge in Jhinu.

Day 11 : Jhinu to walk for 1 hour catch to local bus or jeep to pokhara

After breakfast in Jhinu, you will head out for Landruk. About 20 min downhill walk from Jhinu Danda will bring you to the bridge across the Kimrung River. Then walking past the village of Samrung and the huge boulders, you will come to the new bridge across the Modi River. Crossing the bridge, you will get to the east bank of the river and enjoying the refreshing greenery and the beautiful scenery around, you will hike up to the white washed Gurung village, Landruk. At Landruk you can enjoy the typical settlement, lifestyle, housing style, culture and tradition of Gurung people. You can either choose to rest at the lodge or explore the village of Landruk to spend the remaining day. The night will be spent in a lodge in Landruk.

Day 12 : pokhara city tour

Last day of the trek and you will start your day with the last breakfast in the Annapurna region. Leaving the beautiful Gurung village behind and making the way through the refreshing forest of Oak, you will walk all the way down to Pothana, past Tolka and Bichok (Pitam) Deurali. The view of Dhaulagiri from Bichok Deurali and Machhapuchhre from Pothana are simply breathtaking. Along the way, you will also get a chance to spot beautiful waterfall. From Pothana an easy downhill walk past Dhampus will bring you to Phedi, where a private car awaits your arrival to transfer you to Pokhara. This car will drop you to your hotel in Pokhara, ending ‘the Annapurna Base Camp Trek from Pokhara’.

Day 13: Pokhara to by tourism bus back Kathmandu

Early morning have a breakfast at HOTEL and drive by local bus to Kathhmandu . Transfer to your hotel. shopping. Leisure. Evening meeting for Cultural dinner. Overnight in hotel

  • We don't include drinking water on the trek which you can buy a number of places for between $1 and $3 a bottle (it gets more expensive towards base camp). A better solution is to buy water tablets in Kathmandu for around $2 and treat the water (your guide can help you find the good places to fill your water bottle).
  • The other things not included on the trek are like Wifi, charging batteries and hot showers. Wifi is available in some tea houses for $3 to $5 an hour. Hot Showers are also available in a few for around $4 and charging costs about $1.50 an hour.
  • Unforeseen cost due to flight cancellation, weather conditions etc. You are responsible for extra hotel nights ($30/night) and meals in Kathmandu for any extra days in Nepal due to flight delays
